Many of you know the KirbyStick® was born of our calico cat Kirby's love of attacking anything shaped like a pen or pencil. Over the years we've hand-made tens of thousands of them, with Kirby as our faithful foreman.

Kirby crossed the bridge on December 10, 2010 at age 11, due to complications from Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She had a wonderful life and we will forever cherish our special little girl.

However, we have decided to stop selling KirbySticks. We are considering making our business a charitable foundation in Kirby's memory and are likely to pursue that in the near future. We will post updates here.

Because we make your sticks to order we have very little remaining stock. They will be donated to kitties in need at Kirby's vet's office and our local no-kill cat shelter. Raw materials will be utilized similarly.
